From sketches to mind mapping, I tried to connect as many of the ideas I had for the Zuhaus identity as I could. For Zuhaus I built an identity based around the idea of home and the comfort of home. Being an interior and industrial design retailer, Zuhaus was ready for a more creative and original identity. An identity that although ultimately modern and colourful, still caters to the idea of comfort and ‘home’ that so many of it’s customers connect with. By adding a brick graphic, I was able to achieve this. This idea was also represented by the chimney in the word mark. By being modern and colourful, this new identity can capture new audiences, as well as keep old audiences connected.
